operation nightwatch

last night we gathered at operation nightwatch to cook and serve a meal to the homeless in seattle. it was awesome! the meal came together quickly (chili) and an impromptu dessert (no-bake cookies) were created! thank you to everyone who worked hard to serve!

and one of these days i'll remember to get a whole group picture!!

Hope you all had fun this past Wednesday! It's always a blast celebrating holidays with you all! and of course opening white elephants gifts are...interesting ;)

oh hey...

well hello again, friends! seems that november was a bad blogging month for the yg. it was busy...but let's face it every month is busy :)

anyways...let's chat about whats coming up and whats been going on! 

this past month, we have continued to study the book of james! james has some great stuff to say...read it, discuss it, live it out! 

we gathered socks for operation nightwatch...4 huge garbage bags full! wow. thank you to all who donated!

we had our second meeting of the mission trip group. i'm so excited to see where this goes. god is definitely going to do great things within our church and in new york.

i went to calvin with some hsers...great trip. i'm so happy to be apart of each of your lifes! and going on these trips makes me hope you all flunk so you never graduate and leave. i kid...kind of ;)

service projects!! hooray! one with jubilee reach and one with operation nightwatch. i promise to take some photos. you all are awesome (in advance) for helping these two organizations out! it is really great to team up and help out others in our community.

christmas party! wahoo! hope you all are prepping your costumes. come as your favorite christmas movie character...there will be prizes!

i am looking forward to seeing everyone over the next few weeks. celebrating and serving with you guys is the best...it makes the christmas season :)
